The median-of-the-week post!

Dear S2-09,
  Here is the homework for the day! 

Due today, 2359 (if you have not done so): 
1) Innovation and Entrepreneurship
-Watch the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5016fh7TgQ) and comment on the post which is at http://sst2014-s209ie.blogspot.sg/2014/01/homework.html.

2)  Art, Design, Media and Technology 
-Go to Edmodo and do a video critique 2, share it with Ms Seah (seah_yen_sin@sst.edu.sg)

Due tomorrow:
1) Innovation and Entrepreneurship (by 2359 tomorrow)
-Comment on Ms Koh's new post (http://sst2014-s209ie.blogspot.sg/2014/01/todays-homework.html)
-As a brand consulting company, you are to create a brand name, and a tagline / slogan (not more than 5 words)?

-Submission: Comment and include <Group No.>, <Group Names>, <Brand> at your header.
-To include: a short explanation of the chosen brand name and tagline / slogan. 

2) English (by 2200 tomorrow)
-Narrative Essay (via google document, share it with debbie_tay@sst.edu.sg)

Due next Monday:
1) Art, Design, Media and Technology
-Think of three ideas for your Communication story 
-Name the file (S209_Index Number_Story Ideas)
-Finalised video 
-Group Journal (research is up etc) 

Due next Tuesday:
1) Interdisciplinary Research Studies
-Create a literature review (using a mindmap and upload it to your group's blog)
-Research Justification 

2) Chinese
-Essay (based on the theme, "Chinese New Year')
~Need to follow the format of the passage (first chapter of 2A)
--Finish the back of the Chinese worksheet we did in class
-第一课的习字
-Finish up the back page of the word list (词语表,which is at the bottom)

3) Mathematics 
-Practice 6 questions in the Algebraic Fractions and Formulae 

4) English 
-Characteristics worksheet (based on one of the characters in your plot)

5) Science
-Refraction presentation (insert all the pictures you took during the lab session today) and answer the questions on page 10.

Due next Wednesday:
1) Integrated Humanities
-02A Journal (put it in the Integrated Humanities folder on Google Drive which the school has created for you)

2) English
-Performance Task (pages 3 and 4), this is the second milestone check!

Due 7 February: 
1) Art, Design, Media and Technology
-Video Critique Test

Due Week 6 (this week is week 4): 
1) Chinese
-File in the content pages and put the necessary documents inside. 

Due Term 1, Week 10:
1) English 
-Performance Task (Literary Brochure) 

General information for students to note:
1) The Sec 2 Parents Briefing will be changed from 14 Feb to 21 Feb (Fri).
2) Bring coloured paper and your learning device tomorrow!
3) 
You are encouraged to come to school with a T-shirt or Polo Tee in any shade of red and school pants for the gentlemen and school culottes for the ladies. Normal school rules pertaining to attire apply (ie. no offensive prints etc.) S&W attire is not allowed (even if it's just the t-shirt).

Students who do not wish to come in the above may come to school in the usual school uniform.

Please do bring your reading materials.
